The weather was warm and the action on the track was hot as Zack Brown from Holly Springs roared under the checkered flag to score his first career win at Wake County Speedway. The popular driver climbed out of his INEX Legend in victory lane and thanked fans, family and his Z- Racing team. Austin MacDonald from Atlanta, Ga. drove up and ran 2nd with Jason Austin crossing the stripe in 3rd place. Ryan Helms and Willow Spring driver Mason Ford rounded out the top 5 positions. The Hocutts 4 Cylinder division raced twin races with Jeremy Ottaway, Raleigh scored the win in his Truss Builders Ford over T.J. Dillon in the first feature. Don Frantz from Cary came home in 3rd followed by Chuckie Barbour and Jason Adams. The nightcap winner was Dillon over Ottaway, Frantz, Barbour and Johnathan Clements. The Flathead Ford Touring Series put on a whale of a show with Richard Wikle from Reidsville picking up the win in the modified portion in his Reidsville Mini storage/ John Barrow Law Ford with 2nd place finisher, Dennis Andrews grabbing the sportsman victory in the race within a race. Johnnie Johnson ran 3rd follow by Wayne Lawson and James Rogers rounding out the top 5 positions. The Bandolero feature winner was Josh Speas followed by Cameron Murray, Ethan Johnson, Jacob O'Neal in his Zaxby's hotrod with Jacob Bradley rounding out your top 5 positions. "Racing" Randy Renfrow from Willow Spring won the 60 lap feature for the Solid Rock Carriers Late Model division. The veteran held off Pelham speedster Eric Winslow to score the popular victory in his Coulter Motorsports/ Simpkins Garage Hotrod. Zackery Marks, Willow Spring ran 3rd, Will Roland and "Showtime" Sammy Pacitti finished in 4th and 5th place. Chad Williams scored the win the the Bomber Division race.
