The finest stars and cars of N.C. roared into Wake County Speedway Friday night and fans were treated to a great night of action at "American's Favorite Bullring". Kevin Jefferys from Angier won the Capps Motorsports Modified 4 Cylinder feature holding off veteran Dennis Capps in the Simpkins Garage Ford #21. Jefferys thanked his family, crew and Car owner,T.J. Dillon from victory lane. "Big Daddy" brought his Ford home in 3rd place followed by Darrell Haynie in the Fastmodz Ford in 4th place. Austin Wilder rounded out the 5 positions when the checkered flag flew. Happy Birthday to Four Cylinder winner T.J. Dillon who won the feature. T.J. held off Don Frantz of Cary to visit victory lane for the 4th time this season. Joe Jefferys, Angier crossed under the stripe in 3rd place with Chuckie Barbour in 4th place. The USAC Eastern Midget Touring Series alway's put on a show and after 50 hard fought laps Greensboro driver Chris Lamb celebrated in victory lane. Jessica Bean roared under the stripe in 2nd place, increasing her point lead in the open wheel division with Sam Hatfield, Neal and Nolan Allison rounding out the top five positions. The Late Model division feature was a wild affair and Will Roland from Sanford was victorious after 60 laps at the bullring. Will held off "Showtime" Sammy Pacitti of Angier, Stephen Ford of Willow Spring, Eric Winslow, Pelham and Wayne Goss, Goldsboro to visit victory lane after teaming up with Turn Key Machining and Designs' Alex Fleming. The Bomber feature rounded out the evening and Steven Best visited the Capital City victory lane holding off Les Fenton and Chad Williams for the victory.
