Harry Davis passes away

Harry Davis, award-winning television cameraman and father of NASCAR driver Marc Davis passed away Thursday. He was 62.
Davis was a popular figure in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series garage, where his son Marc ran for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series in 2007 and 2008.
"The NASCAR family is saddened by the passing of Harry Davis," said Richard Buck, NASCAR director of touring series. "He was immensly proud of his son and was a tremendous supporter of his racing career. Harry always had a smile for everybody, and was a warm and generous individual. On behalf of the France Family and everybody here at NASCAR, he will be missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family."
Harry Davis worked for NBC4 in Washington for 28 years before he retired. Since he has been heavily involved in helping his son on his path up the NASCAR ladder.
