Raleigh, NC --

Harper Graphix night at the races featuring double points for the Harper Graphix Limited Late models got started with the future stars mini cup drivers. Wesley Noles started from the pole in his #51 with Holden Haddock's #55 at his door. The green flag dropped and Noles rocketed away from the field once again to win in his #51. Holden Haddock made a late race charge, but came up short as he finished 2nd in his #55. Blake Raynor rounded out the top 3 in his #01.

Next, the Citgo Mini Mart 4 Cylinder drivers headed to the track with Aaron Champion's #15 on the pole alongside Matt Daley's #9. Champion pulled out front with Jesse Duke in his tracks as Wilbur Duke brought out the first caution for contact with the backstretch wall. On the restart, Jesse Duke would put his #33 ahead of Champion for the lead. On lap 5, it was Tommy Ashworth spinning his #07 on the backstretch to bring out the yellow as Champion pitted for a mechanical issue but rejoined the field. Lap 11 saw Ashworth looping off turn 2 once again. On lap 12, Champion put his #15 ahead of Daley's #9 machine. On lap 20, Daley pulled his car into the pits and retired as Ashworth made it a hat trick with his 3rd spin off turn 4. Jesse Duke held on to pick up win #2 in his #33 Duke's Heating and Air Mustang. Aaron Champion brought his #15 Mustang home 2nd to maintain his points lead. Gaylord Stephenson's #1 Mustang silently worked his way into 3rd place and held on to finish there.

The Harper Graphix Limited Late model drivers headed to the track to take center stage with double points on the line. Ricky Jones started on the pole in his #38 Toyota with Zachary Marks to his right in the #25 machine. Jones quickly took the lead as the green flag dropped. On lap 3, it was Todd Langdon going for a spin in his #78 off turn 2. On lap 23, it was Andrew Grady taking a spin off turn 4 to bring out the yellow. The battle up front between Jones and Marks continued until the last lap when Marks stuck a nose under Jones off turn 4 and tried to complete the pass in turn 1. Jones and Mark collided as they fought for the lead sending Jones sideways in turn 2. Jones was able to save his car, but made contact with Marks in the process sending Marks hard into the inside wall. Ricky Jones managed to make it back to the checkered flag in his #38 Jones Brother Towing, Jones Transport, Noles Cabinets Toyota. Frankie Dominick managed to avoid the last lap chaos and bring his #3 Dean's Wrecker Service, Avec Service center, Grafix Unlimited Monte Carlo home 2nd. Andrew Grady salvaged a 3rd place finish in his #1 ABC Hosiery Monte Carlo. After the race, tempers flared between the Jones and Marks crew leading to an altercation in the pits between members of both teams.

The North Carolina Iron Works Modified 4 Cylinder cars rolled out to keep the show going. Justin Jones started from the pole in his #7 with “Showtime” Sam Pacitti rolling off 2nd. Jones flexed his muscle as he took the lead on the green flag pulling Randy Pierce along into 2nd. On lap 9, it was Keith Weatherly spinning on the front stretch to bring out the caution. On lap 19, it was the #50 of Trevor Noles bringing out the yellow for a spin off turn 2. Justin Jones held off Randy Pierce to take the win in his #7 Capital Area Trusses, Performance Auto Body, Clark Motorsports, Hair Worx, Frazier Landscaping Taurus. The Dunn Benson Ford Super Late Model drivers thundered to the track next with Charlie Stephenson on the pole in his #85 with Joe Heigl's #15 at his door. Stephenson put his Dodge horsepower to work as he took the lead early with Heigl in tow. On lap 21, it was the #21 of Chuck Barber spinning off turn 4. On lap 27, Heigl made his move as he took the lead from Stephenson. On lap 41, Stephenson got into the back of Heigl as the cars entered exited turn 2 sending Heigl for a spin and collecting the #3 of Curtis Simpkins. Charlie Stephenson took his #85 Quality Lightening Protection, Newt Jones Racing Engines, Brad Puryear Racing Engines, Boyette's Automotive, Jim Bushee Jr Dodge to victory lane. Joe Heigl fought back to 2nd in his #15 Performance Auto Body, The Pink Polka Dot, Signs In A Snap Monte Carlo. Bruce Martin picked up his first top 3 in the #B5 Monte Carlo.

Finishing up the night were the Dirt Cheap Sand, Rock, and Mulch Ucars. Robert Arch buzzed from the pole in his #F1 with Kenneth Partin's #1 ready to race him from 2nd place. On the first lap, it was the S9 of Michael Strickland going 3 wide and making contact with the #75 of Les Aliff turning Aliff into the outside wall to bring out the yellow. Arch was able to beat the field back to the line to restart 1st. On lap 11, it was the #71 of Dwane Godwin spinning in turn 2 with Les Aliff slamming into the back of Godwin as his car sat in turn 2. Aliff retired, but Godwin continued on. On lap 20, it was the lapped car of Kelley Bottomly coming down on Michael Strickland on the backstretch causing the two to collide. Bottomly hit the inside wall hard as Strickland had nowhere to go. Robert Arch avoided and conflicts and smoked the tires as he made his way to victory lane in the #F1 Honda. Matt Grimes proved to be the man on the move in his #6 Honda as he came from 11th to 2nd place. Michael Strickland salvaged a 3rd place finish in his #S9 Saturn.
