Roanoke, VA. --
Bryan Reedy left Motor Mile Speedway on Saturday May 2nd happy with a fourth place finish in the Mod4 division 30-lap race.
The Reedy Racing Team and its driver fought a loose condition during the race but were pleased with their race car that still has less than 100 total laps on it since it was built.
On the way down Christiansburg Mountain, headed toward their Roanoke shop, the third generation driver got a call from the track's competition director Randy Merriman informing him that he had been declared the winner of the race.
“It is not the way I wanted to win my first race, but we will take them any way we can get them” explained Bryan. “We hope to win one on the track real soon so we can celebrate it the right way”.
Bryan wheeled his Intelligent Decisions, Mobility Plus of VA, Pizza Den, Richards Auto Alignment, Reedy Electrical, Inc., Pro Image Graphics, JRM Racecars, Billy Cash Race Engines Ford Fusion to a fourth place starting position in qualifying.
Bryan made his way to third position during the race, but the loose racecar was a handful and Bryan settled for a fourth place finish on the track. The top three finishers had carburetor problems in technical inspection and that allowed Bryan to collect the winner's trophy.
Bryan and the team will be back in action at Motor Mile Speedway with twin 30-lap races on May 16th. Come see Bryan continue his quest for the 2009 Mod4 Division championship.
