Jason Hogan Makes It Two in a Row at Southern National .

Cleveland, GA . --

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:10/6/08

When it rains it pours, right? Just ask Georgia native Jason Hogan who picked up his second in a row ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour win this weekend at the Southern National Raceway Park in Kenly, NC located just outside state’s capital of Raleigh. After being declared the winner of the Hickory event due to Jeff Choquette’s disqualification Hogan, even though he picked up the win, felt he had something to prove.

“At Hickory we just fell into the win and that’s not the way I like to win, but here (Kenly) there’s no questions left unanswered. We just went out there and took care of business. It feels good to get a win the right way this time! Our car was just solid all night long and never really fell off from the time they dropped the green,” said Hogan.

Hogan qualified his Water Works/Hogan Lumber Ford Fusion in the sixth position but it only took thirty-seven laps before he took control of the lead and never looked back. It was Jason’s third win of 2008 and his second in a row with the series.

Now after winning two in a row it’s hard for Hogan to turn away from success when it’s staring him in the face so he will travel to the series final points race of the 2008 racing season at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, GA on October 18th.

“We’ve ran so good at the last few ASA races it is kind of hard not to go ahead and go to the next one. Plus, the chance to make it three in a row is really pulling at me pretty hard, I’ll admit it,” joked the two time winner Hogan.

Now with the season winding down the JHM team will turn their focus towards the season ending “big money events” such as the All-American 400 in early November and the all new Southern Slam 250 at the South Georgia Motorsports Park in late November. Stay tuned at www.jasonhoganmotorsports.com for all the latest news, results, and scheduling information on driver Jason Hogan.
