Experienced drivers wanted for NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series

For Immediate Release:(August 22, 2006)



Drive for Diversity® is now formally accepting applications for the fourth season of its driver development program.

Resumes and information from experienced minority and female drivers can now be submitted for consideration for the 2007 season. Interested candidates are invited to provide relevant materials to Access Marketing & Communications now through September 22, 2006. Selected applicants will be invited to participate in testing and evaluation events this fall, hosted by Access Marketing & Communications.

Drivers will have the opportunity to exhibit their skills before established NASCAR team owners in an effort to receive an opportunity to compete in the Drive for Diversity Driver Development Program throughout the 2007 season. Drivers who have demonstrated their skill and have experience in grassroots racing will be considered.

“We are thrilled with the progress and opportunities that have been provided by the Drive for Diversity program after three seasons”, said Greg Calhoun, president and CEO of Access Marketing & Communications. “We are proud to continue our diversity efforts along with NASCAR and look forward to our fourth Driver Combine being an exceptional success.”

Drive for Diversity is a long-term initiative aimed at developing a steady pipeline of well-trained and supported ethnic and gender minority drivers and crew members. This season, the Drive for Diversity team is comprised of eight drivers, all competing for established NASCAR team owners in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series.

Interested drivers should send resumes, videotapes, on-track photos, race results, references and other supporting materials to: Competition Committee, 1435 W. Morehead St., Suite 170; Charlotte, N.C. 28208.

Resumes and supporting materials can also be e-mailed to driver@drivefordiversity.com All resumes and supporting materials need to be postmarked no later than Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006. Please note that applicant resumes and supporting materials will not be returned.

Drive for Diversity (Access Marketing & Communications)
