Action resumes at Langley next Saturday, April 29, with five feature races planned. Topping the bill is a 100-lapper for the Crossroads Fuel Service/Sunoco Dealers Late Models. It’ll be the first of six 100-lap events on the track’s ‘06 Late Model schedule.
The April 29 program also includes: Super 8 Motels/Dunkum’s Machine Shop Grand Stocks (40 laps); Verizon Super Trucks (25 laps); and, BBFlabradors.com Wolf Trucks (20 laps). The HRKC Mini Cup cars lead off the night, at 6:30 p.m., with a 20-lap contest.
Gates open at 12 noon. Practice begins at 1:30 p.m., while qualifying gets under way at 4. Pre-race activities, including the Mini Cup race, start at 6:30, followed the rest of the feature card at 7.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, 6-12. “Little Race Fans” (under 6) are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Also, there is no charge for military members in uniform. “Family Packs,” which include two adult and two children’s tickets, are $25 — a savings of $5. Skybox seats, a popular option, are $30 each. There is no charge for parking.

Everyone coming out to next weekend’s event is reminded to wear a red shirt to show appreciation for Hodges’ contributions and to show support for his family.
Langley Speedway will hold its regular, weekly "test and tune" session on Thursday, April 27. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and practice runs from 5 'til dark. Pit admission is $10 with a valid NASCAR, INEX or Langley Speedway license and $20 without a current competition license. There is no charge to watch practice from the grandstands.
