Resnick Wins N.C. Food Bank Night At Wake County Speedway

The finest stars and cars roared into America's Favorite Bullring last night and treated fans to a great night of up close in your face racing excitement. Adam Resnick, Sanford turned back all challengers to win the 60 lap Metal Depot Late Model feature. Jeremy Ottaway, Raleigh won the Hocutt's Auto and Tire UCAR/ Mini Stock feature after a race long battle with Justin Fussell,Sanford and Don Frantz; Dewayne Godwin grabbed the victory in the UCAR class in the combo event. Todd Langdon continued his domination in the Charger class with another 2015 win. Raleigh's Michael Cooper visited victory lane in the Modified 4 Cylinder class with Dr. Kenneth Tripp, Jr. nailing down the win in the Legends division. Blaise Brinkley, Sanford added to his 2015 win total with a victory in the Bandolero feature and the USAC Eastern Midgets winner was Andrew Layser.
Sanford's Adam Resnick won the 60 lap Metal Depot Late Model feature with a strong run in his Carteret County Speedway, Graphixnc.com, Thrifty Tire Special. Resnick held off Raleigh's Alex Fleming and his Hulkster/ Bandit II and Clayton's Bobby Gower Cleveland Auto Spa/ Pennzoil hotrod to grab the win. Zach Marks, Willow Spring and Fuquay's Cory Walker rounded out the top five finishers.
Dr. Kenneth Tripp, Jr., Raleigh has been running strong all of the 2015 racing season and last night it all paid off with a trip to victory lane. Tripp held off another strong run by Stephen Ford, Willow Spring with Zach Brown rounding out the top 3 finishers in the Legends car feature.
Sanford speedster, Blaise Brinkley won the Bandolero feature after Ethan Johnson dominated early. Brinkley used a late caution to wrestle to lead away from Johnson and his NAPA sponsored bandolero. Samantha Beasle rounded out the top 3.
Raleigh's Michael Cooper had a great run in the Terazzano Mod 4 feature holding off Dennis "The Dominator" Capps and Raleigh's Randy Ayers to score the win. "Atta Boy" award to Cooper for great work ethics and busting on race cars; excellent job!
Wake County Speedway runs again this coming Friday night, July 24th as another action packed evening of racing entertainment is on tap.
