6TH ANNUAL RUSTY HARPE MEMORIAL 200 SET FOR JULY 4th
Fireworks On and Off the Track Light Up the Independence Day Holiday
(Winston-Salem, NC): On July 4th, Caraway Speedway will host the sixth annual “Rusty Harpe Memorial 200” presented by Daggett and Shuler Attorneys at Law. The annual event remembers Rusty Harpe who was a long-time competitor at the .455 mile oval located in Asheboro, NC. The 200 lap feature for NASCAR Late Model Stock cars always draws a big field of cars and some of the best Late Model Stock Car division drivers in the Carolinas and Virginia. B. J. Mackey was the 2011 winner of the event.
While the event is always one of the biggest events of the Caraway season, this season’s race will offer a big payout of $5,000.00 to win with a minimum of $400.00 to start the event. The return of Daggett & Shuler is a big plus for the event making this purse possible. Additional contingency sponsors will be announced soon. Lap sponsorship has always been a big part of the success and expanded the payout but this year Darren and Renee Hackett wanted to give a little something back to encourage participation in the Lap Sponsor program. A $100.00 Lap sponsorship gives the sponsor two grandstand tickets plus two dinners at the Caraway Hospitality Tent prior to the races.
Details for the Lap Sponsor Program are:
