Langley Speedway received some national attention last week in USA Today's travel section. In an article entitled "10 great places for small-town NASCAR racing," veteran motorsports journalist Dick Berggren identified Langley as one of his favorite venues. Berggren is a familiar face in the pits on Fox Sports' NASCAR Sprint Cup broadcasts, as well as the executive editor of Speedway Illustrated.
In describing Langley's allure, Berggren noted, "You walk in there and you're literally walking into motorsports history."
Thanks, Dick! We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
