Jimmy Wallace Captured Second Consecutive Win In The Late Model Truck Ranks

(Asheboro, NC): Reedy Creek’s Jimmy Wallace captured his second pole and second win of the season in the 50 Lap Late Model Truck feature event. Gene Kepley of Lexington, Coy Beard of Lexington, Wayne McHone of Thomasville and Jeff Garrison of Clemmons round out the top five finishers. Wallace currently has a four point cushion over Kepley in the track point standings.
In the 30 Lap Sportsman event Archdale’s Josh Lowder captured his first win of the season. Tony Black of Lexington, Tommy Neal of Walkertown, Carl Auman of High Point and Dean Lowder of Archdale round out the top five finishers. Auman has a four point cushion over Neal in the track point standings.
In the 20 Lap Auto & Metal Recyclers U-Cars Allen Vance of Randleman took home his second win of the season. Ben Hanks of Trinity took home the Semi-Pro win and Timothy Brower of Trinity took home the Rookie Win.
In the 25 Lap Street Stock event Michael Worthington of High Point took home his first win of the season. Clyde Johnson of Sanford, AJ Lain of Thomasville, Larry Isenhower of Trinity and Randy Clark round out the top five finishers.
In the Lexington Chiropratic & Wellness Legends 25 lap event Josh Morris captured the win.
This Saturday Night the Nascar Late Model Stocks will compete for Twin 50 lap events. Also competing will be BK Auto Limited Late Models, Bibs Downtown Mini Stocks, Full Throttle Super Mini Trucks, Auto & Metal Recyclers U-Cars, Street Stocks and Lexington Chiropractic & Wellness Legends. Grandstands will open at 5pm and the racing action gets underway at 7pm.
