Orange County Speedway with the OCS 255 Saturday, August 7, racing will return

After a month without racing, fans are not the only ones being left anxious for the running of the OCS 255 Saturday, August 7, here at Orange County Speedway. In fact, the drivers extremely anxiousness has increased to all time highs as well.
Especially Late Model driver Terry Dease, who was the first person at the pit gate ready to race in the OCS 235, which was cancelled due to rain. Point leader Craig Moore was also enthusiastic after three weeks of no racing, even though he had been up until 3 a.m. changing out his motor.
Furthermore, Grand Stock Driver Keith Edwards was extremely anxious to run the OCS 235, but agreed that his car would not make a good boat. The rain came and has prevented a month full of exciting racing here at OCS.
But do not to fear, with the permission of Mother Nature, the OCS 255 will be held Saturday, August 7. Seven different divisions will race on the high banked turns of OCS, guaranteeing a thrilling night of side-by-side racing.
The night’s agenda will consist of Late Models, Limiteds, the Southern Ground Pounders, Grand Stocks, Pure Stocks and Street Stocks. A special appearance will also be made by the Mini-stock Trucks
Don’t forget to come out at 6:30, for the Southern Ground Pounder’s Pit Party. Step out onto the track and get up close and personal with some of your favorite cars and drivers. After the party, don’t forget to enter the 50/50 drawing, which will be held to help support the Person High School tennis team.
OCS would also like to remind fans to spread the word and print up their coupons for $20 a car night, which will be held Saturday, September 18. The coupons can be found at the bottom of ocstrack.com.
Final practice for the OCS 255 is anticipated to start at 2:30 p.m., with qualifying at 5:15 p.m., and racing starting at 7 p.m.
The front ticket gates will open at 6 p.m., but fans are welcome to come early for final practice and qualifying by entering through the front ticket office.
Come out and enjoy grassroots racing at its best here at OCS. General admission Adult Tickets are $10. Student Tickets are $8. Tickets for Senior citizens 65 and older are only $5. Fans with a valid military, university, fire department, law enforcement or Mariah Parham identification, can also gain admission for only $5. Kids 10 and under are FREE.
There are also a limited amount of air conditioned VIP seats located in the tower of turns three and four. They are available for an amazing price of only $20 per seat.
Open Practice will be Held Thursday, August 5th, 9 am until dark for $10 per person for pit entry. Fans may come watch practice for FREE.
